How does it work?
1. Visit our website at www.dinnerisserved.com.au
2. Choose your delicious fresh meals
3. Select your delivery day – Tuesday or Friday. We require 48 hours notice to cook your meals fresh.
4. Put your feet up and let us do the rest – meals, wine and more direct to your holiday (or home, we see you, busy locals) door!
Where do you deliver to?
We currently deliver to the Byron Bay region including Byron Bay, Broken Head, Lennox Head, Ballina, Alstonville, Mullumbimby, Brunswick Heads, Kingscliff.
We have finished up the snow season in the Snowy Mountains for 2018 and look forward to returning in 2019 from the June long weekend to the October long weekend. We will start taking orders from March 2019. For any enquiries please contact us at [email protected].
How can I pay?
We now offer the following payment options;

How much will each dish serve?
Wondering about potion sizes and how much will be enough?
Oven meals come in three sizes;
Small – Serves 2-3
Medium – Serves 4
Large – Serves 6-8
Stove top meals come in stand up pouches.
Small – 750ml which is a generous 2 adult size and would be enough for a couple of young children too.
Medium – 1L which serves 4
Large – 2L which serves 6 – 8
All of our pouches come with a zip lock seal so you can keep food fresh for another meal.
Microwave meals are one size, which is a 2 person portion.
Are you like a takeaway place? Can I order and pick up for dinner tonight?
We are not like a takeaway business (but we can recommend several excellent local restaurants that do great takeaway if you just need something for tonight! For recommendations in Byron bay, check out https://www.byron-bay.com/restaurants/).
Instead we aim to provide fresh, locally made, ready-to- heat, serve-and-eat meals which you can order in advance.
We deliver on Tuesdays and Fridays but we can always try to accommodate any special requests with enough notice.
How fresh are the meals? Who makes the food? Where are the ingredients sourced from?
Our meals are made freshly to order. We have local chefs in both regions, they source only the freshest ingredients once we have received the order, which is why we encourage pre-orders. We source our meat and veggies from local producers and try where possible to use Aussie.
What if I have special dietary requirements?
We have several vegetarian, vegan, dairy-free and gluten-free options on our menu, but please send us an email at [email protected] with any questions or special requests, and we can make some recommendations or work with our chef to try to accommodate your requirements. We aim to delight our customers, and we are constantly looking for new ways to improve. So if you have special requirements and any constructive suggestions on how we can accommodate these, we’d love to try to help!
Can I order just alcohol?
No, alcohol can’t be purchased without a food product. Our Liquor License (LIQP770017056) restricts us to delivering alcohol with food. So add an antipasto selection or one of our delicious meals and you’re good to go.
Do you charge delivery?
All orders over $150 are delivered free of charge. For orders under $150, we charge a flat fee of $20.
What if I want my order delivered outside your delivery days/times?
Our standard delivery days are Tuesday and Friday, BUT we love to delight our customers. So please contact us at [email protected] with any special delivery arrangement requests and we will try our best to accommodate you.
What if I won’t be in during your delivery period window?
If you’ve booked your holiday accommodation through an agent, please let us know so we can arrange to have your meals, nibbles and wine in the fridge and awaiting your arrival. Alternatively, we can leave food outside in our chiller boxes.
If you have ordered alcohol with your purchase, legally we need to be able to deliver to a secure location.

Do you deliver on snow?
Lucky enough to be staying on snow at one of Perishers Lodges? Don’t haul your grocery shopping up with you, we partner with Hans Oversnow to deliver directly to your lodge for a fee of $20 per order. We’ll have your meals and wine waiting on your arrival.
Do you cater for large groups?
We sure do, we can cater for large groups whether you’re skiing, surfing, hiking, fishing or simply relaxing in and around the Snowy Mountains and Byron Bay. Bookings can be made through our website from our standard menu, or you can contact us at [email protected] for inquiries where you may wish us to accommodate hiking picnic packs, snacks and drinks.

What if I’ve made a mistake on my order?
Send us an email to [email protected] as soon as possible and we will adjust it for you if we are ahead of our delivery window, otherwise we will make our best efforts to accommodate your request.
What is the meaning of life?
We’re pretty sure it starts and ends with good food, good friends, family and wine. But we’re probably not the best qualified to answer that. Or then again, maybe we are!
