Garlic Potato Gratin (Dauphinoise)


Something rather wonderful happens when you sweep a cascade of thin sliced potato into a baking dish with only cream and Swiss cheese for company. Well, we also rub the cut side of a garlic clove over the bottom and sides of the dish first. After being baked for more than an hour, the potato is tender and creamy and the top is golden. A sprinkle of parsley is all it needs.

Preparation Time

Pre-heat oven to 200c and cook for 40-50 Mins until golden and bubbling. Remove from oven and allow to rest for at least 15 minutes before serving
